Where in the world is my ASV?

Paste your ASV sequences: the map shows where identical or similar ASVs were found in the reference.

No sequences

The search starts with identical records (100%); you can widen it to similar ASVs on the map.

Sampling locations (optional)

A CSV file with the three columns asv_id,latitude,longitude: the identifiers of your FASTA and decimal degrees in WGS84, as given by GPS and web maps (e.g. my_ASV,47.393030,8.544811; south and west negative). One row per place: an ASV found at several places has several rows. Your ASVs are shown on the map as stars, with the distance to the nearest matching record. The coordinates stay in your browser: they are not sent to the server.

Advanced options

Species of your ASVs

Search your ASVs first (tab “ASV search”): networks are built for the species they match, with your ASVs placed in them.

Network

Method

Sequences are oriented, aligned, and columns with gaps or ambiguous bases are left out, so haplotypes differ only by substitutions in the shared region. Distances are numbers of differences between haplotypes. Node size: number of occurrences.

Haplotypes on the map

Choose a taxon and build its haplotype network.

Each reference holds the ASVs of one marker and one primer pair.
